We simulated Tottenham vs Brighton to get a Premier League score prediction

Tottenham will be looking to make it five Premier League wins on the bounce and further sustain their place in the top four when they host Brighton on Saturday.

Spurs have hit their stride in recent weeks, with the Lilywhites currently on the longest winning run in the league. Their form has seen Antonio Conte's side enter the top four, with Spurs currently three points ahead of Arsenal in fifth and with a monumental goal difference.

In their last six league games, Spurs have managed 21 goals, with Heung-Min Son, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski all hitting their best form at the same time. The meeting with Brighton will be the third time the two sides have met in 2022, with Spurs winning the previous two games.

Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon are all absent for the clash against Brighton, with the latter having picked up a muscular problem after a scan. Matt Doherty is out for the rest of the season after he sustained an injury against Aston Villa.

So, what line-up will Conte select? And, what could the final score be? We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Tottenham vs Brighton on Saturday and this is what happened...

Tottenham v Brighton score predicted by simulation

We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control. We then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.

We predict that Tottenham could set up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Royal, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

We predict that the Seagulls side could set up in a 3-5-1-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Veltman, Dunk, Cucurella; Lamptey, Mwepu, Bissouma, Caicedo, Trossard; Mac Allister; Welbeck.

Spurs' dangerous front three all linked-up from the go in the simulation, with Son finding the net within the first minute before the flag was raised. The early goal was the only major chance in a very close first-half between the two sides.

The second half continued in the same manner as the first, with nothing really clicking for Spurs. A double sub saw Lucas Moura ands Steven Bergwijn introduced with 15 minutes remaining, and the latter was involved instantly, setting up Kane for the opening goal.

Harry Kane made it 1-0 to Spurs (EA SPORTS FIFA)

A headed clearance was met by Bergwijn on the right, and the winger used his pace to evade a couple of challenges as he charged towards the byline. Bergwijn pulled a cross back into the box which was met by Kane, and the striker fired an effort across goal and into the bottom corner.

The intensity of the final 10 minutes was much better from both teams than the first 80 minutes, with Brighton now desperate for an equaliser. The visitors hit the post just minutes after Kane's opener, and they eventually found an equaliser with four minutes to go.

Eric Dier scored an own goal to make it 1-1 (EA SPORTS FIFA)

Substitute Neil Maupay was fed through on goal by Yves Bissouma, and despite the angle being narrow, he opted to shoot. His shot was well saved by Lloris and palmed back into the centre, but the save rebounded off the backtracking Eric Dier, hitting his knee and bobbling into the net.

Despite the late equaliser, Spurs continued to push and find a winner. Robert Sanchez made a two incredible sides as Brighton looked to hang on by a thread, but Moura was the hero for Spurs, finding the winning goal in the 94th minute.

Once again, Bergwijn was the provider, with the Dutch winger charging down the left and hanging a cross into the centre of the box. Moura used his momentum to leap the highest and meet the ball, powering a header back across goal and into the corner.
