We simulated Fulham vs Tottenham to get a Premier League score prediction

Tottenham will be desperate to pick up three points on Monday night when they face Fulham in the Premier League.

After going 2-0 up, Spurs fell to a 4-2 defeat against Manchester City on Thursday night, a third loss in four Premier League games for Antonio Conte's side. The Lilywhites are struggling for form, and a win is vital on Monday night as they face sixth-placed Fulham.

If Spurs were to lose the clash with Fulham, they will drop below the Cottagers. The reverse fixture in north London saw Spurs beat Marco Silva's side 2-1, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane getting on the scoresheet.

So, could Spurs rediscover their winning ways against Fulham on Monday? Let's take a look.

Fulham vs Spurs score predicted by simulation

To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Fulham could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Leno; Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Paulinha; Cordova-Reid, Pereira, Willian; Mitrovic.

We predict that Spurs could line up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Royal, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Richarlison.

Spurs started under the cosh at Craven Cottage, with the Cottagers seeing more of the ball in the opening stages. Spurs looked dangerous on the break though, and they took the lead after 24 minutes through Harry Kane.

Richarlison started the attack on the left when he flicked the ball through the legs of his marker on the halfway line before surging towards goal.

The striker cut inside and onto his right as he looked to shoot from distance, but a well-timed reverse pass through to Kane played the striker one-on-one with Leno, and the Englishman rifled a powerful shot into the bottom corner for 1-0.

The goal had come against the run of play with Fulham having the better chances in the first half, but Conte's side managed to take their lead into the break. Fulham continued to control the game in the second half, and they found an equaliser on the 62nd-minute mark through Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The in-form striker met Andreas Pereira's corner at the near post, pushing ahead of Eric Dier to meet the cross. A glancing header sent the ball across goal and at Hugo Lloris, but some poor goalkeeping saw the Frenchman only able to tip the ball into his own net as the score was levelled.

Spurs had a chance from a corner of their own moments after when Richarlison was found unmarked at the back post, but the Brazilian headed the ball onto the crossbar as the game remained all square. A handful of changes were made by Fulham as they looked to take the lead, and they did just that through one of their substitutes.

Tom Cairney made it 2-1 to Fulham (EA SPORTS FIFA)

Tom Cairney picked out the run of Vinicius with a ball over the top of the defence, but the striker was smothered by the outrushing Lloris as the Cottagers missed a glorious chance. But, as Cairney continued his run into the box, the rebound fell to the feet of the midfielder, and he smashed the ball through a sea of bodies and into the middle of the goal to make it 2-1.

Spurs threw everything at Silva's side as they looked to level the score late on, but it left them vulnerable at the back, and in the 94th minute Mitrovic made it 3-1 when he latched onto a long ball forward, rounded the 'keeper and slotted into the net.
