Eddie Howe has reflected on the 5-0 defeat at the hands of Man City. The Magpies have slipped down the table and out of the top 10 in the Premier League.
United were 2-0 down at half-time but crumbled late in the game to suffer a heavy defeat. Howe said: “The second and third goals, the two set-plays were disappointing from our perspective. Two corners, we're kicking ourselves.
"We had a good spell after the two subs. We had good chances to score. I'm disappointed with the last few minutes, it puts a different view on the game.
