Inter Milan assistant manager Massimiliano Farris wants to see a "performance" from the team in the upcoming Champions League showdown with Liverpool on Tuesday.
The Reds were 2-0 winners in the first leg of the last-16 showdown at the San Siro, with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah on target for the Premier League outfit.
While Liverpool eventually won by a comfortable margin, the Serie A giants gave an excellent account of themselves and carved out a number of opportunities on the night.
Instead they face a massive task to overturn the two-goal deficit on Merseyside. But after their 5-0 win over Salernitana on Friday, Simone Inzaghi's assistant Farris said the team is in a good place going into the game.

"We know it won’t be easy to overturn that result, but we want the performance," he told Sky Sport Italia (h/t Football Italia ).
"There’s no lack of motivation, we are going to Anfield, it’s the Champions League and we must not forget what we did in the first half of the season. It is the same squad, we played very well in the first leg against Liverpool and will use our best available XI.
"We are the only side who can control their own fate, because if we win every game, nobody can catch us. So we must start realising that strength."
Inter's win on Friday moved them to the top of Serie A, a point ahead of Napoli and city rivals AC Milan.
The Nerazzurri faithful would have been delighted to see Lautaro Martinez on the scoresheet on Friday, as he broke his goalscoring drought in spectacular fashion by notching a hat-trick.
The Argentina international had not found the back of the net since December and celebrated his first goal by angrily punching the corner flag.
