'We may not see the usual Rishabh Pant in IPL 2024'

After a gap of more than a year following his horrific high-speed car accident, Rishabh Pant is expected to make his return to competitive cricket for his franchise Delhi Capitals in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman is believed to be in the final phase of his recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru to complete a much anticipated return. However, it's highly likely that he may opt to play only under the 'Impact Player' rule to begin with as a batsman alone.
