Pep Guardiola has sent a Manchester City warning to Liverpool over the race for the Premier League title.

The Reds temporarily moved to the top of the table on Tuesday night after their 4-0 win over Manchester United. Goals from Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane and a Mohamed Salah brace secured the victory at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were two points ahead of Man City before they faced Brighton on Wednesday evening. However, Liverpool dropped back to second place and one point behind Guardiola's side after their 3-0 victory over the Seagulls on Wednesday night.
