Liberty quarterback Malik Willis is at the NFL combine this week as he looks to separate himself as the top quarterback prospect in the 2022 NFL draft. In a draft with six quarterbacks all vying to be the first one drafted, most evaluators feel Willis has the highest upside of the draft-eligible passers.
Off the field, Willis continues to shine. Willis has impressed NFL coaches and evaluators in individual meetings with teams and should be atop any team’s draft board that needs a quarterback.
Are you listening, Ron Rivera and Martin Mayhew?
Willis is busy with this week’s combine, but a video surfaced of the former Liberty Flame speaking to a stranger on the street. The man filming the exchange saw Willis reach in his bag and hand the stranger something.
No one is sure what Willis gave the stranger, but that random act of kindness was the best thing on the usually toxic Twitter Thursday.
Was having lunch yesterday and saw one of the Combine guys helping out someone on some hard times…@malikwillis being great even when nobody is watching. How can you not be a fan of this guy? pic.twitter.com/BmFzUM66NU
