Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was mic’d up during the team’s Week 12 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Hopkins finished the contest with three catches for 49 scoreless yards but had an 11-yard reception during Tennessee’s 15-play, 91-yard touchdown drive during the first quarter.
The veteran wideout currently leads all Titans pass-catchers in receptions (45), receiving yards (699) and touchdowns (four), making him one of the few bright spots for Tennessee on offense this year.
But as Hopkins has proven to be the Titans receiver defenses need to worry about (and really, the only receiver), opponents have begun focusing in on him more and more.
In fact, Hopkins even notes in the clip below that teams are throwing two and three defenders at him on some plays, which he jokes is a lot for someone many considered to be washed up upon signing with the Titans.
“You see they got three people on me first play of the game,” Hopkins said in the clip. “For me to be washed up, they sure damn be trying to go at me with two, three people, huh?”

Up next for Hopkins and the Titans is the Indianapolis Colts, a team the veteran wideout tallied a season-high 140 yards against in a Week 5 loss.
