The Houston Texans have been preaching SWARM since DeMeco Ryans took over as coach in February.
One of the venues where the SWARM mentality showed up with dividends yet again was Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. Although the oculus above the field may have been open, there was hardly any daylight for the Falcons running game.
The Texans had miscues as far as the third quarter with five neutral zone or offsides penalties. However, the defensive line began to turn the tide as defensive tackle Khalil Davis forced running back Bijan Robinson to fumble with 11:01 to go in the third quarter. Defensive end Dylan Horton recovered to give Houston their first takeaway of the game.
