Houston Texans coach Lovie Smith may be 63 years old, but he showed that he still has some game.
While hanging out with former Indianapolis Colts punter and internet sensation Pat McAfee for his eponymous show during the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Smith took the challenge to hit a jump shot from the free throw line. The former 2005 NFL Coach of the Year nailed the shot, nothing but net.
Although the Texans have a long road to complete the rebuild following two straight seasons of just four wins, Smith has infused optimism and confidence, and the swish is emblematic of how smooth the operation has gone since his promotion to coach.
