In the first quarter against the Houston Rockets, Steph Curry recorded seven assists, while the Golden State Warriors went on to score 40 points in the opening frame. However, the reigning NBA Finals MVP surprisingly went scoreless on only two attempts from the field in the first quarter.
Curry then quickly came alive on the scoring side. After scoring eight points in the second quarter, the eight-time All-Star tallied 16 points in the third quarter before adding nine more clutch points in the fourth quarter.
On his way to a 33-point performance on 11-of-20 shooting from the field with seven made triples, Curry broke out his signature “night night” celebration after a ridiculous made 3-pointer.
With the Warriors leading by six points with under a minute remaining, Curry drilled a high-arching dagger jumper from beyond the arc. After hitting his highlight-reel fade away, the night night celebration made an appearance in Houston.
