Sean McVay was understandably fired up after the Rams’ 26-9 win over the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Los Angeles got back in the win column after losing to the Eagles last week, a victory that was much-needed – especially with the rest of the division losing.
As they do after every victory, the Rams shared a video of McVay’s locker room speech to his players Sunday. He recognized several players, including Kyren Williams, Christian Rozeboom and Cooper Kupp, praising his team’s effort and resilience.
“You guys were outstanding with the resilience, just staying steady. I thought defensively, the way you guys played with some sudden changes in the first half, some of the big plays. Awesome job,” McVay said.
He handed out three game balls in the locker room: one to Rozeboom for his pick, one to Rob Havenstein for the entire offensive line’s play and one to Williams, who had 158 yards rushing.
Williams then broke down the huddle and sent the Rams into Week 7 when they’ll host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
