Watch out Samsung - Amazon's Fire TV is now so cheap you can't afford to ignore it

Samsung might be the most popular TV brand in the world but it's facing stiff competition from Amazon. The online retail giant launched its Fire TV screens in the UK earlier this year and one gogglebox has just received a massive discount.

The Fire TV 2-Series device features a 32-inch 720p HD screen and is powered by Amazon's Fire OS software which means there's easy access to a swathe of premium apps and services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video.

If you don't want to pay to watch content then you'll also find plenty of free services inching YouTube, Freevee and Pluto TV.
