Watch MSU head coach Jonathan Smith recaps loss at Boston College

Michigan State football dropped a nailbiter on the road on Saturday night.

The Spartans surrendered a late lead in the final minutes of the game to lose to the Eagles by the score of 23-19. With the loss, Michigan State is now 3-1 on the year.

Michigan State outplayed Boston College for most of the game, but was hampered by critical mistakes. The Spartans committed four turnovers, including three interceptions from quarterback Aidan Chiles, and failed to cash in on a few drives that resulted in field goals.

Michigan State will look to regroup from this loss in an extremely tough home matchup next week against Ohio State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET next Saturday.
