Cooper Kupp has been the best wide receiver in the NFL all season, yet the Bengals are treating him like he’s nothing more than a No. 3 option. After leaving him open on a third-and-4 play earlier in the game, they left him wide open on this 11-yard touchdown catch.
Matthew Stafford hit him in the back of the end zone after he slipped past the defense uncovered, putting the Rams up 13-3. The extra point attempt failed after Johnny Hekker couldn’t get the snap down in time, but the Rams are still in complete control.
Eli Apple was lost in coverage, which is how Kupp came so open in the end zone.
That Stafford + @CooperKupp connection is ELITE.
