Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams are having a rough afternoon against the Dallas Cowboys, but the veteran quarterback is still making highlight-reel plays.
On the Rams’ first drive of the second half, Stafford led them down the field and scored a touchdown with a 20-yard pass to Ben Skowronek, but that wasn’t the best play of the possession. It was the two-point try afterwards that had Twitter buzzing.
The Rams called their own version of the “Philly Special,” handing it off to Puka Nacua, who tossed it to Tutu Atwell, who then threw it to a wide-open Stafford.
Stafford caught the underthrown ball and dove into the end zone for two points, making it 33-17 early in the second half. It was reviewed and confirmed by officials.
