New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon made one of the biggest plays on Day 3 of training camp practice by intercepting rookie quarterback Drake Maye and taking it to the house.
There has been speculation surrounding Judon’s contract situation in the first week of training camp, but he’s kept his head down and put in great work, despite his future uncertainty.
The veteran will be a key piece for a Patriots defense that was amongst the NFL’s best last year.
Judon tallied 13 tackles and four sacks last season before going down with an injury in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. It appears he is healthy and ready to go, as evidenced by the play he made Friday.

For what it’s worth, Maye bounced back quickly and recorded four straight completions after throwing the interception. Nevertheless, this was a strong reminder that Judon is still one of the most impactful linebackers in the game.
