It turns out, statistically speaking, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow worked some magic during Sunday’s win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Onlookers knew that without numbers, of course. And basic numbers — like his 28 of 32 mark for 283 yards and three scores — showed it too.
But how about metrics that measure completion probability? As shared by the Bengals on social media, three of Burrow’s throws during the win had a 30 percent chance or less of success.
Two of those went for touchdowns to Tyler Boyd and rookie Andrei Iosivias, while another was the completion after the 10-plus second scramble from Burrow.
While the Bengals are already thinking about the Bills, this one will be fun for fans to review:
