The Jacksonville Jaguars practice field was comedy central in Duval County this week as second-year safety Andre Cisco roasted his teammates over their Madden ratings. Equipped with a sheet of the players’ attribute breakdowns, Cisco confronted his fellow Jaguars with the game’s analysis of their skillsets.
Check out the video of the lighthearted moment in Jacksonville’s practice session, and notice the obvious chemistry that has been built in training camp on full display:

After chatting with safety Rayshawn Jenkins about his catch rating, he spoke to cornerback Shaquille Griffin in regards to his speed grade, which was tops on the team at 94. Rookie defensive back Tyson Campbell was embarrassed by his 58 strength rating when Cisco came his way, and wide receiver Jamal Agnew took exception to taking the back seat to the aforementioned Griffin in the speed category.
Cisco did not comment on his own breakdown by the renowned franchise, but his 71 overall rating in the most recent game is sure to be lower than he’d like. That number is up one point from last season, where he was graded as a 70 overall as a rookie.
As the Jaguars weren’t the most competitive team in the league last season, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that some fan favorites weren’t rated as highly as the Duval faithful would have hoped. Free agent addition Brandon Scherff tops the list of Jacksonville’s best players in this year’s edition of the game with an 87 overall grade, while defensive star Josh Allen is close on his heels at an 85.
First-overall picks Trevor Lawrence and Travon Walker each clocked in at a 76 rating, but these numbers are all subject to change as the EA Sports team assesses their performances throughout the course of the 2022 season.
Even if Madden doesn’t seem to think the Jaguars are the league’s best team ahead of the regular season kickoff in September, moments like the one at practice this week are why fans and players alike adore the franchise.
