After what looked like a surefire loss in Philadelphia, the Atlanta Falcons snatched a Week 2 victory from the jaws of defeat. With a dash of luck in the form of a dropped third-down pass by Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, the Falcons had new life with less than two minutes left.
Kirk Cousins and the Falcons offense marched downfield in just over a minute, finishing the drive with a touchdown pass to Drake London to take a 22-21 lead over Philadelphia with 34 seconds left (watch below).

The game still wasn’t over, though, and the defense needed to make one last stop. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had his team on the move before taking a hit that forced an errant throw in the final seconds.
Falcons safety Jessie Bates came down with the interception and the team left Philadelphia with an improbable win. Watch Bates’ game-sealing interception below, as shared by the NFL’s Twitter account.
