Watch: Emmanuel Macron brings back viral aviator sunglasses during state visit

Welcoming the leaders of Oman and Thailand on Monday (29 June) French president Emmanuel Macron brought back his viral aviator sunglasses that he wore at the Davos forum, due to an eye infection.

At the Elysée Palace, Macron was seen wearing the iconic pair of sunglasses during a signing ceremony inside the presidential palace alongside the Sultan.

Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said was in France to discuss bilateral talks with the President, marking it as the first Omani Sultan’s visit in nearly 40 years.

Thailand’s king Rama X was in France at the invitation of the president to commemorate the 170th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and France.
