After punting on their first drive, the Miami Dolphins pinned the New York Jets inside their 15-yard line.
Breece Hall had two rushes for four yards, and Zach Wilson converted a third-down attempt to Xavier Gipson. Then, on the next play, Wilson was hit by Bradley Chubb and Christian Wilkins which caused the ball to pop out and fall at the feet of Zach Sieler.
Sieler fell on the ball at the one-yard line, setting the Dolphins up for Raheem Mostert’s record-setting touchdown.
