When in doubt, throw it to Cooper Kupp. That’s the mindset Matthew Stafford probably has because most of the time, it works.
Kupp was outstanding late in Sunday night’s game against the Lions, taking over on offense after Puka Nacua went out with a knee injury. He put his stamp on the game during the Rams’ drive to take the lead, 20-17, dominating the Lions’ defensive backs with several huge plays.
The first, and perhaps the best, was a 20-yard reception along the sideline where he dragged his toes and held on for a key first-down pickup. It was one of the better catches you’ll see all year.

A few plays later, he stepped up again and caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to give the Rams a three-point lead.
.@CooperKupp for the lead!
