On the Colts’ second offensive possession of the game, the big play ability of quarterback Anthony Richardson was already on display.
On a first and 10, Richardson lined up in shotgun. he took the snap and briefly lost his footing on the dropback. However, despite that and with the Houston pass rush generating a push, that elite arm strength that Richardson possesses was able to deliver a strike to Alec Pierce, who got behind both Texans’ defenders in route to a touchdown.
A 60-yard drop in a bucket.

After an opening possession for the Colts where they failed to pick up a fourth down conversion, this was a terrific response from Richardson and the offense.
The play gave the Colts a 7-3 lead over the Texans with about five minutes remaining in the first quarter of action.
This is just another example of the extremely high ceiling that Richardson possesses.
