When the Golden State Warriors acquired Chris Paul in the Jordan Poole trade this past summer, there was significant hope the veteran guard could help develop some of the younger talent on the roster. Paul has a reputation for expediting the development of young talents primarily due to his on-court leadership and selfless style of play.
This season, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis have emerged as legitimate rotation players for Steve Kerr‘s team. While Paul’s presence can’t be credited for the youth movement taking place in the Bay Area, it certainly isn’t hindering the process.
On Thursday as the Warriors were preparing to face the Chicago Bulls, Paul could be seen coaching Kuminga on the sidelines. A video has since surfaced on social media, showing the veteran guard’s coaching skills in action.

With Steph Curry sidelined for the Warriors’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, Paul will have a chance to provide additional coaching in real-time, as he continues to impart his wisdom on the Warriors’ next generation of talent.
