It’s all going downhill for the Ohio State basketball team, and you can bet head coach Chris Holtmann is feeling the pinch. The Buckeyes dropped their eighth game in nine tries, and the head coach of OSU let things boil over at the end of the first half in a 65-60 loss vs. Wisconsin at home.
It’s something we really haven’t seen from the seventh-year head man in Columbus. Wisconsin can be a frustrating and physical team to play, and with Ohio State falling down by double-digits in the first half, Holtmann could be seen on a few occasions questioning some of the calls and non-calls from the officials.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsHoltmann eventually and finally lost his cool and began pointing and shouting in the face of one of the officials when Justice Sueing was called for an offensive foul with just 27 seconds left before halftime and Ohio State down 37-27.
In case you missed this verbal altercation and double-technical that sent Holtamann packing, you can catch it below thanks to a Twitter video from Barry Badrinath.
