The Kansas City Chiefs offense finally got into gear against the New England Patriots in Week 15 when Patrick Mahomes found running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire for a touchdown in the third quarter of the hotly-contested matchup.
Edwards-Helaire had to make a spectacular play on the ball to reel in the score, jumping high in the air to secure the catch before falling in the end zone for six points.
Check out his remarkable effort here, and notice the body control he displayed to come down with the ball:

With star running back Isiah Pacheco out for this game, Mahomes and Andy Reid have relied on Edwards-Helaire for some serious production, and the former first-round pick hasn’t let them down.
With a little more than a quarter remaining in the Week 15 tilt, Edwards Helaire should be considered the prohibitive favorite to earn a game ball for his outstanding efforts against New England.
