Entering this season, Washington Commanders defensive end Chase Young had 1.5 sacks combined over the previous two seasons. Of course, a devastating knee injury cost Young 22 games during that period.
In the win at Denver two weeks ago, Young matched that total with 1.5 sacks vs. the Broncos, reminding everyone how terrific and impactful he can be when healthy.
On Sunday, Young and Washington’s offensive line had a big challenge against Philadelphia’s outstanding defensive line.
How did Young respond to the challenge?

As you can see, Young beat Eagles left tackle Jordan Mailata for the sack. It was the first sack that Mailata has allowed this season.
A good effort from Young, but the Commanders will need more to pull off the upset.
