Warriors Set NBA Record During Chaotic Regular-Season Finale

Warriors NBA Klay Thompson Stephen Curry Golden State the Trail Blazers

The Warriors crushed the Trail Blazers, 157–101, in the 2022–23 NBA regular-season finale Sunday.

Not only did Golden State clinch the sixth seed in the Western Conference playoffs, the team broke an NBA record in the first quarter.

The Warriors came out in the first 12 minutes and scored a total of 55 points, breaking the previous NBA record of 51 points in a first quarter. The record previously was held by the Hornets (over the Bucks earlier this season) and the Warriors (over the Nuggets in 2019).
