Wayne Pivac has been sacked and Warren Gatland has been reappointed as Wales coach in a stunning returning to Welsh rugby.

The Welsh Rugby Union have just completed a review into Wales' performances under Pivac which resulted in a meagre three wins out of 12 this calendar year included two embarrassing home defeats to Italy and Georgia, respectively.

As a result they have decided to part ways with Pivac and have turned to Gatland, who engineered four Six Nations title wins during his previous 12-year tenure as Wales head coach.
