Warning as Asda, Lidl and Sainsbury's recall food products over health concerns

Shoppers across the UK are being urged to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers for a number of products which have since been recalled by their respective retailers. it comes as Asda, Lidl, Sainsbury's and Waitrose have all issued urgent product recalls on popular snacks on sale at their supermarkets due to health concerns.

Products can be recalled for a number of different reasons, from faulty packaging to misleading labels, undeclared allergens to possible microbiological contamination. And when a food item is recalled, regardless of the reasoning, the Food Standards Agency will share the specific details of the product, to help respective shoppers identify whether their goods purchased could have a fault with them.

The FSA usually also tell shoppers what they should do should they have purchased the item in question, as well as detailed information with regards to why it has been culled from the shelves in the first place. Here, The Express reports all of the products which are under recall from the retailers at present.
