H&M X Wardrobe.NYC is live – here’s what to shop for your autumn capsule wardrobe

The H&M Wardrobe.NYC collab focuses on staple pieces - (H&M/The Independent)

H&M's latest designer collaboration with New York-based label Wardrobe.NYC has officially landed. Founded by editor and stylist Christine Centenera and designer Josh Goot, the brand is known for its minimalist aesthetic and elevated wardrobe essentials.

The collab officially launches today (August 6), bringing together the brand's decade-long approach to building a carefully curated capsule wardrobe. The collection is filled with timeless, versatile pieces designed to mix and match effortlessly, making it easy to create polished looks with minimal effort.

The collection combines tailored wardrobe staples with more casual essentials, including wool coats, structured blazers and tailored skirts alongside washed denim and hoodies. Finished in a neutral color palette, the pieces are designed to work together effortlessly.

The collaboration isn’t trend-focused; instead, it’s made up of timeless pieces that Centenera says she hopes will become “staples”. Echoing her, Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor and head of design women’s wear at H&M, told trade publication Drapers that the collection consists of “pieces that will be in your wardrobe for a long time.”

With the launch now available to shop, here’s everything you need to know about the new collection.
