A Kentucky Walmart worker named Gayle went viral on 10 October 2026 after her store marked 44 years of service with a bouquet, but the sharper story is a profit-sharing perk she started with that newer hires never get.

Gayle, who works at the Frederica Street store in Owensboro, was photographed holding flowers in a Facebook post from the shop's page. 'Congratulations Gayle on 44 years with the company,' it read. The post was later removed, though screenshots had already reached millions.
