Walmart shopper says they paid for 215 lbs of groceries twice, then told the worker calling after them ‘this isn’t my stuff, this is your stuff’

A Reddit User recently took to the MaliciousCompliance subreddit after they clashed with Walmart while trying to fix their mistake. MuteRevolt told Reddit that a few days ago, they accidentally committed a transaction walk-off with over 215 lbs of groceries. That is, they left without paying. The Redditor claimed that Walmart handled it so “poorly that I had to restrict their access to my wallet,” and is now “on a hard break [with Walmart] and cheating with other stores to my heart’s content.”

“On Thursday, I went shopping and hit the self-checkout. I usually use WalmartPay, but that day I used a physical card and apparently miskeyed my PIN. Believing my receipt was on my phone like usual, I headed out,” MuteRevolt wrote in their post. “The next morning, I realized my mistake when I saw a declined transaction notification on my banking app. Being an honest person, I called that specific store’s customer service to fix it.”
