Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson announced his resignation on Monday, bringing an end to his 11-year tenure with the program. Clawson expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead the Demon Deacons, stating that he had given his all for the team and the university.
During his time as head coach, Clawson achieved notable success, including guiding Wake Forest to 11 wins and a berth in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game in 2021. However, the team struggled in the past two seasons, posting a 4-8 record.
