It’s hard to figure out what Von Miller wants.
On Sunday, the star outside linebacker indicated he wants to “run it back” with the Los Angeles Rams on his Instagram story. On Monday, Miller posted about a potential reunion with the Denver Broncos on social media.
Miller even assured Broncos fans in an Instagram story that he wasn’t teasing. ““It’s real, man,” Miller said of his interest in returning to Denver.
So, which is it — does Miller want to “run it back” with the Rams, or does he want to return to the Broncos? Wednesday’s developments made Miller’s intentions as clear as mud.
Miller spoke with USA TODAY’s Josina Anderson yesterday and implied that re-signing with Los Angeles is his preference.
“I want to figure it out with the Rams first and foremost because they’ve been real good to me,” Miller told Anderson. “On the slim chance that can’t happen, then I’ll explore all my options.”
OK, so he wants to stay in L.A., right? Well, after speaking with Anderson, Miller posted this on his Instagram story:

Maybe he’s torn between the two teams? Maybe he’s trying to use one or both of them as leverage in negotiations to improve his free agency market?
It’s hard to gauge what Miller actually wants, but we should find out soon. The NFL’s free agency negotiating window will open on Monday.
