Vladimir Putin has a secret brood of young children who are being raised in luxury while the brutal war in Ukraine rages on, according to Russian media.
The warmonger is rumoured to have several children with his supposed girlfriend Alina Kabaeva, a former Olympic rhythmic gymnast who is 30 years younger than him, the report has alleged.
The news comes hot on the heels of his hidden life with Kabaeva being exposed this week by the independent Russian media outlet Project.
It was revealed that the pair enjoy a secret life at the forest palace by Lake Valdayskoye which is halfway between Moscow and St Petersburg.
Putin ordered the building of the 13,000 square feet property so that it would be fit for a "royal residence" after coming to power at the turn of the millennium and he wanted it styled "like St Petersburg" meaning lavish as it would have been for the Russian tsars.
The complex boasts a "huge spa complex with a solarium, a cryo-chamber, a 25-meter swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna, a mud room, massage baths, cosmetology and dentistry areas," Proekt reported.
An image shows Putin's study with ornate mahogany furniture while another shows gilded chairs around a glass table and a spherical chandelier, with golden leaves, hanging from the ceiling.
It is unclear how many children the couple share, but according to the investigative Russian outlet Proekt, they are all under the age of 18.
It has previously been reported that the couple has at least one daughter together.
The warmonger believes the leak about their lavish life came from Alina's friends, who, according to the President, "talk on every corner about everything they know and don't know."
“Putin said that he had 100 per cent information that the leak came from Kabaeva's circle of friends,” alleged the General SVR channel Telegram which claims to have Kremlin insiders and said he was furious it had got out.
An unnamed source familiar with the operation of the Valdai facility told Proekt that the estate is the children's main residence.
Alina is a 39-year-old Olympic gold medal-winning rhythmic gymnastics star who later became a pro-Putin MP, before now running a major media group which slavishly backs the Kremlin.
The pair have never acknowledged a relationship even though they are suspected to have at least two children together.
Yet Proekt revealed that a Swiss doctor had led a Western medical team as Kabaeva gave birth to children in 2015 and 2019.
Since its construction, the palace has had a boat dock and a large children's playground built on the property. In the summers of 2021, and 2022, a small karting track was set also up for the children, the outlet said.
The property also has a private and guarded railway station, which Putin and Kabaeva reportedly use to travel inconspicuously across the country.
