Vladimir Putin’s criminal investigators hunting rumoured pregnant lover's ex

As Vladimir Putin ’s rumoured lover Alina Kabaeva today marks her 39th birthday, Russian authorities have launched a criminal investigation into her former police captain ex-partner.

It comes as the former gymnast is said to be pregnant.

Colonel Shalva Museliana has fled abroad, accused of sabotaging security at four strategic Arctic ports in a “bribe-taking scandal”.
