Vivek Ramaswamy's wife Apoorva debuted in campaigning for Ramaswamy in the Ohio Governor election in a new advertisement where she introduced their newborn Savithri, to the world, shrugging off the trolling that it earlier caused and would cause in the future. "Bringing a new baby home puts everything into perspective. I am Apoorva Ramaswamy. Nothing means more to my husband Vivek than being a father. He knows Ohio families are working hard but are falling behind. Like every parent, he wants safe communities, great schools and a state where hard work means you can afford your home, your groceries, your future. Vivek is running for Governor to give every family a fair shot at a better life so Ohio's future stays right here.
The advertisement video features Vivek Ramaswamy's family, his children meeting their sister Savithri and Vivek kissing his newborn. When Ramaswamy revealed the name of his daughter, there was vicious trolling that all his children have Indian names. Similar trolling started immediately after the new video was posted as people commented that Vivek is disliked so much that his wife now has to campaign for him.
