Visa issue sorted, India-West Indies last two T20Is will be in the US

MUMBAI: The last two T20I games of the India-West Indies will indeed be held in the US.

There was a chance that the matches, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Lauderhill, Florida, would have been shifted back to the West Indies as some players of both the teams were not getting their US visas in time, but that issue has now almost been resolved.

"Those players who have had a US Visa are already in Miami. The others have gone to the US Embassy in Georgetown, Guyana for processing the same. They should get their US Visas soon," a source told TOI.

The flight between Georgetown and Miami takes five hours.

The West Indies team and some members of the Indian team have reached Florida.

India lead the series 2-1.
