A virtual meeting called 'White Dudes for Harris' is set to take place on Monday to generate enthusiasm for Vice President Kamala Harris' election campaign. Organizers anticipate over 10,000 white men from across the country to participate and show their support for Harris' presidential bid.
Previously, a record-breaking Zoom call was organized by 164,000 White women in a meeting titled 'White Women: Answer the Call' to demonstrate their backing for Harris. The event featured celebrity guests like Megan Rapinoe, Pink, and Connie Britton, aiming to rally support for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
Following suit, more than 50,000 Black men held a call in support of Harris, while a previous Zoom call for Black women raised over $1.5 million for the Harris campaign.

The 'White Dudes for Harris' meeting was inspired by the successful organizing efforts of Black women and men. The event aims to counter the influence of the 'MAGA crowd' and promote a positive role for white men in shaping America's future.
Various demographic-specific calls have been organized in support of Harris, including those for South Asians and LGBTQ+ individuals. Harris' entry into the race has injected energy into the Democratic Party, particularly after concerns following Biden's debate performance against Trump.
While many supporters are excited about the prospect of the first female Black and South Asian president, there are concerns about the readiness of Americans to vote for a Black woman.
