has begun the only non-stop flights between London Heathrow and Phuket, using its Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliner on a new seasonal service aimed at winter sun seekers and leisure travellers.
The airline launched the route on Sunday 18 October, with the Tourism Authority of Thailand reporting the inaugural arrival into Phuket International Airport the following day. Flight VS214 operates three times a week from Heathrow, with VS215 flying the return leg, timed for the peak holiday period when Phuket draws large numbers of European visitors seeking sunshine.
