Virgil van Dijk has set an extraordinary Premier League record after Liverpool 's victory over West Ham United.
The Dutch defender has won plenty of individual awards since arriving at Anfield in January 2018 as well as major team titles with Jurgen Klopp's men.
But after the Reds edged out the Hammers 1-0 on Saturday evening, Van Dijk broke the English top-flight record for the most home matches at one club without losing.
Incredibly, Van Dijk has never lost a league game at Anfield with Liverpool, a run of 60 matches comprising 52 wins and eight draws.

That takes him above Lee Sharpe, who went 59 league games without losing at Old Trafford for Manchester United in the 1990s.
Liverpool are yet to lose at Anfield in any competition so far this season.
That was a far cry from last season when - with Van Dijk sidelined through serious injury - they lost six times at home in the league as their title defence faltered.
The 30-year-old has made an impressive comeback from that ACL injury, re-establishing himself as one of the best centre-backs in world football.
Van Dijk has struck up a solid partnership with Joel Matip and with Ibrahima Konate, who himself is on an unbeaten run of 10 games in all competition since his summer switch from RB Leipzig.
Liverpool, who are still in the hunt for an unprecedented Quadruple, return to action on Tuesday when they host Inter Milan in the Champions League.
