Virat Kohli's batting gloves during his 'MCG special' vs Pak fetch Rs 3.2 lakhs in Chappell's charity dinner

MUMBAI: The batting gloves that former Indian captain Virat Kohli wore while smashing his match-winning, unbeaten 82 off 53 balls in the ICC T20 World Cup match against Pakistan in October last year at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) fetched $5,750 (about Rs 3.2 lakhs) in the Chappell Foundation's 6th Annual Dinner at the Sydney Cricket Ground on September 13.

The Chappell Foundation was co-founded by Australian cricket legend and former India coach Greg Chappell and Darshak Mehta, an Australian businessman.
