Virat Kohli becomes first Indian to reach 250 million Instagram followers

NEW DELHI: IIndian cricketer Virat Kohli has achieved yet another remarkable milestone by becoming the first and only Indian personality to amass a staggering 250 million followers on Instagram.

In terms of athletes, he holds the third position worldwide, trailing behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in terms of Instagram followers.

During the IPL 2023 season, Virat displayed an outstanding performance for RCB.

In 14 matches, he exhibited his prowess by scoring 639 runs with an impressive average of 53.25 and a striking rate exceeding 139.

This season, he accomplished two centuries and six half-centuries, with his highest score being an unbeaten 101 runs.

Virat's next appearance will be in the highly-anticipated World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, scheduled to take place at the Oval in England from June 7 onwards.
