Viral! This photographer is recreating portraits of models from 2000s

Dough Inglish has started a new series of Then & Now on his Instagram and it is creating quite a buzz on social media. The photographer is getting all the models he had clicked during the early aughts and recreating the same portrait with them. His series has grabbed a lot of eyeballs and Dough is being praised for showing how their looks changed with the passage of time.

The model shown in the banner image is Jerreth Ludwig, whom Dough Inglish had captured almost two decades ago and he made him do the exact pose now.

Soon after the first look Dough recreated, he decided to approach the other male models he had captured in those days and Dough mentions in his interview to CNN that all the models he had shot with agreed to be a part of the series.

The photographer had captured these models during their struggling days, when they were trying to make it big in the fashion world. Modelling agencies would send these models to the photographer's home for casting and test shoot and if he liked them, he would capture their portraits.

In an interview given to CNN, the photographer said, "As I age, there is this longing for the past. There's a longing to recreate (the past) or just to be back where you were. But the truth is, when I think about it, I'm a much happier person today than I was back then."

Take a look at some of the images recreated by him.
