A perverted former headteacher downloaded images of young girls being sexually abused.
Mark Smith, also known as Mark Bocker, was a headteacher until 2015 and worked in education for more than three decades. Smith, aged 61, was convicted of possession of indecent images at the beginning of this year and sentenced on March 9.
While using his birthname of Bocker, Smith also worked in schools across the North West of England. The sentencing hearing was told that he had changed his name very recently but the judge in the case confirmed that the surname Bocker was the one he used for the majority of his life, Lancs Live writes.
