Not only did the Minnesota Vikings lose 34-28 to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, they also had some unfortunate injury luck.
Yes, every team has injuries happen to them, but the Vikings dealt with some frustrating ones. Both left tackle Christian Darrisaw and outside linebacker Marcus Davenport were active, but they played a combined one snap on the night.
Buy Vikings TicketsIt isn’t just those two players, as the Vikings had multiple players injured during the game. Here is the latest update on all of the Vikings injuries.
S Josh Metellus
Metellus injured his shoulder in the first quarter. He missed some time, but did return and finished the game
LT Christian Darrisaw
Christian Darrisaw was activated for Thursday night’s game, but didn’t start nor play a snap. Why was that? He apparently aggravated the injury before kickoff but after inactives were listed.
Christian Darrisaw aggravated his ankle during warmups, coach Kevin O'Connell said, past the 90-minute deadline for declaring players inactive.
His backup, Oli Udoh suffered a knee injury that "does not look good," O'Connell said.

CB Akayleb Evans
Akayleb Evans went down with what looked like a painful injury while covering A.J. Brown on a deep route. He ended up walking off the field and was shown his calf worked on. Evans returned to the game after it looked like his calf was cramping up.
OT Oli Udoh
During a pass blocking rep, Oli Udoh fell to the ground and was carted off the field. It didn’t look good and Kevin O’Connell during his press conference said the injury “does not look good.”
OLB Marcus Davenport
Marcus Davenport was activated and started the game for the Vikings, but he only seemed to play in one play. It appears that he’s not healthy right now and the long break hopefully will help him be ready to take on the Chargers in 10 days.
