Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith has been underrated his entire career. On Monday night, Smith was shown some respect, ranking 97th in the NFL’s top 100 players.
This is the sixth time that Smith has made the list with his last appearance being in 2020 at 64th overall. His highest appearance was in 2018 where he ranked 46th.
Smith was good last season for the Vikings despite being asked to play in two high looks consistently. He is best playing as a rover on the back end of the defense being able to take advantage of situations and blitz the quarterback.
Smith is the first of at least three Vikings on the list, with Justin Jefferson and Christian Darrisaw near certain locks to make it.
