The Vikings have a new brain trust, as general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O’Connell head into their first season with Minnesota in 2022. They brought back quarterback Kirk Cousins for next year, meaning the Vikings could go in a variety of directions with their first pick.
Minnesota enters the draft with eight picks, but four in the final two rounds. In previous years, the Vikings were known for trading back, but a new set of leaders may mean a new plan in Minnesota.

The 2022 NFL draft begins with the first round on Thursday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET. The second and third rounds take place on Friday, beginning at 7 p.m. Rounds four through seven take place on Saturday, beginning at noon.
